Dr. Marie Holowaychuk has been speaking to audiences about small animal emergency and critical care medicine for more than 10 years. Her lectures are targeted to a range of audiences including technicians, veterinary students, general practice veterinarians, residents-in-training, and fellow specialists. Her sessions are engaging and include case examples from her practice experience in hospitals across Canada and the USA.
Dr. Holowaychuk has provided an array of lectures at many large conferences across North America including the Western Veterinary Conference (WVC), CanWest Veterinary Conference, Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Convention, Wild West Veterinary Conference (WWVC), Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) Conference, Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT) Conference, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Forum, and the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (IVECCS) Meeting.
Dr. Holowaychuk can also engage smaller audiences and has provided lectures and laboratory sessions for general practitioners and technicians at several veterinary medical association meetings including those held in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Indiana, and Connecticut. She has also spoken in the LifeLearn Veterinary Update Series and International Veterinary Seminars, as well as the Edmonton Association of Small Animal Veterinarians, Regina Academy of Small Animal Practitioners, and the Hamilton, Toronto, and Calgary Academy of Veterinarians.
